Boone's message is a simple one: Put God first and serve your wife as Jesus served the Church. By using your relationship with God as the model for your marriage, you put yourself in a position to love and, in return, be loved, thereby creating a fulfilling and rewarding home life.
Life is something that causes believers anxiety. They wonder if their lives will be worthy of heaven, if it will garner them adequate rewards when they stand before a righteous Judge. They are concerned with the length of their lives and how their health will play out. All these things are notable concerns, but the real concern about living is whether or not your life attracted someone to Jesus.
